San Antonio | November 1-4, 2026

As the largest public health gathering of the year, APHA’s Annual Meeting and Expo convenes approximately 11,000 public health professionals and partners from around the world. Join us for this can’t miss opportunity to make lasting connections and learn from exhibitors, peers and today’s leaders. Together, let’s ensure health for all across the lifespan.

Families
Supervised children 16 and younger are welcome to attend the meeting for free and are welcome in all areas of the Annual Meeting during open times. However, with regard to scientific sessions, if children begin to make noise, it’s critical that parents remove them from the room immediately so as not to disturb the session. Children are not permitted in the Expo Hall during set-up and tear down.

Spouses/Parents
Presenters are allowed to have one spouse or parent attend their session for $30. This can be added during the registration process. If you would like your spouse to accompany you to multiple sessions and events, you must register them as a guest.

Nursing Mothers
Spaces have been designated for pumping or breastfeeding mothers at the convention center (rooms 1212 and 2137) and the Grand Hyatt (Independence). These spaces offer comfortable seating, extension cords, and refrigerators.

Gender-Neutral Restrooms
Single occupant/family restrooms at the HBGCC are available on Level 1 near Hall 1 and near Hall 4A; on Level 2 near rooms 208, 221, and 225; on Level 3 outside the Stars at Night Ballroom, HemisFair Ballroom and near room 301. At the Grand Hyatt, a gender-neutral restroom is available on the fourth floor, located outside the Republic Room. We will identify these in the online program and mobile app for your convenience.
