APHA Annual Meeting and Expo
More than 12,000 public health professionals attend the APHA Annual Meeting, which is the largest public health conference in the world. At the meeting, more than 1,000 scientific sessions provide the latest research in public health science and practice and over 600 exhibits display state-of-the-art public health products and services. National Public Health Week
During the first full week of April each year, APHA brings together communities across the U.S. to observe National Public Health Week and recognize the contributions of public health and highlight issues that are important to improving our nation.
APHA monitors and evaluates the dynamic social, political, scientific and global environment of public health for its members and the public they serve. We are the preeminent advocate on behalf of sound policy and effective practice in public health.
APHA publishes the American Journal of Public Health. AJPH is dedicated to the publication of original work in research, research methods, and program evaluation in the field of public health.
