National Public Health Week

Thank you for celebrating the 30th Anniversary of National Public Health Week!

We are already planning for next year’s celebration! Please check back in November for updates on National Public Health Week 2026.

About NPHW

Join as an individual on Team APHA or create a team of your own. As a team captain, you will be able to invite your group to join!

If you participated in the challenge last year, you’ll see that we’re using Walker Tracker again to track your physical activity in the Challenge, but with a whole new map!

Signing Up

Stay active with a team and support APHA’s goal of reaching more than a billion steps by the end of National Public Health Week. You can sign up online at www.aphakeepitmoving.walkertracker.com, or through the Walker Tracker app, available in the App Store for iPhone or Google Play store for android. If you're using the app to sign up, be sure to use "aphakeepitmoving.walkertracker.com" as your "program URL."

1. Create an account, connect your device and complete your profile. The website makes it easy to complete the sign-up process in just one screen. (No device? No problem. Here's how to log your activity).

2. Join an existing team, or create a team. Use the search bar to find your team.

No team? No problem. Join TeamAPHA! But choose wisely: You can only be part of one team, and you can only change teams once.
