Rivers Laraque-Ho (they/them) is a genderbending writer, editor and perennial work in progress. They are passionate about punctuation and enjoy working across genres and disciplines in the name of accessible language, open communication and shared knowledge. Currently, they are the editor at Data Maven, where they work closely with epidemiologists and data analysts on a variety of public health communications, reviewing and workshopping language with special consideration to language around disability, stigmatized conditions and vulnerable populations.
