Rally for the Public’s Health

The rally was held on Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 2:30-4 p.m. to rally for critical public health issues and initiatives. Whether you’re visiting Washington, D.C. for the Annual Meeting or you are a local public health advocate, this rally is for you. Public health advocates from across the country gathered to highlight urgent priorities, including:
- Investing in public health
- Strengthening the public health workforce
- Gun violence prevention
- Reproductive rights
- Climate and environmental health
Rally speakers shared powerful stories, bold ideas and calls to action that will energize and inspire. Together, they demonstrated the strength, unity and passion of the public health community — and reinforced that protecting the public’s health is not optional, it’s essential. Speakers included:

At the conclusion of the Rally, attendees joined the March for Health & Science.
A broad coalition of groups from the healthcare, public health and scientific communities will march from the rally to the Capitol, where they held a press conference to present accumulated signatures from five petitions calling for the resignation or removal of RFK Jr.
