The Global Strategy for Women’s, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health is a roadmap for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals that most contribute to improving health outcomes for women, children and adolescents. APHA, in collaboration with The Partnership for Maternal Newborn and Child Health, have organized a webinar series to learn about the latest evidence and recommended interventions on how to improve their health.

The Public Health Association of Australia in partnership with the World Federation of Public Health Associations engaged researchers, practitioners, academics, administrators, policy makers, industry representatives, students and stakeholders involved in public health from all over the globe. At the Congress, the 50th anniversary of the WFPHA's founding was commemorated. International participants shared and enhanced their knowledge about the latest advancements in public health, its challenges and opportunities, collaborations and advancements. In Melbourne, the WFPHA also announced that Rome, Italy was selected as the site for the next 16th World Congress on Public Health to be held in October 2020.
