APHA adopts 19 new policy statements
Yesterday at APHA 2020, the Association’s Governing Council voted to adopt 19 new policy statements on topics ranging from the quality of children’s vision care to the urgency of halting the separation of immigrant families at the border.
Six of the new APHA policy statements — all of which are created, reviewed and adopted by APHA members — are latebreakers, meaning they were not open to the same review as the other 2020 statements and will serve as interim policy statements until the Governing Council’s next review at the 2021 APHA Annual Meeting.
