Don’t miss the 2020 Annual Meeting early events and content starting today!
The 2020 APHA Annual Meeting and Expo features some early events and content available starting today:
- Poster Sessions: These have been pre-recorded and cover the gamut of public health issues, from COVID-19 to health equity, racial equity gun violence prevention and more.
- Roundtable Sessions: The pre-recorded sessions are full of thought-provoking insights on such topics as workplace violence, how youth can lead the way to healthier communities, racism and incarceration and using community engagement to improve health
- Public Health Short Films: The APHA Public Health Film festival never disappoints, and this year’s offerings will have you on the edge of your seat.
Also, we usually encourage all new attendees to come to the Navigate and Network Session at each APHA Annual Meeting. This year, we’re all new to the virtual format. So join us today at 2:30 ET/12:30 MT for Navigate and Network 2020. And tomorrows’ Social Media Lab session “APHA Goes Virtual" for Annual Meeting attendees offers even more tips for making connections in a virtual format.
Help us spread the word about all our great APHA 2020 content and happenings using #APHA2020. There’s never been a more important time to come together as a public health community.
You can also share your excitement by printing an APHA 2020 badge and some fun ribbons. Our template (PDF) also lets you design your own message.
