Tools and tips for a successful NPHW 2020
This year, APHA celebrates 25 years of hosting National Public Health Week! Join us in observing NPHW 2020, April 6-12, and become part of a growing movement to create the healthiest nation in one generation.
We’ll celebrate the power of prevention, advocate for healthy and fair policies, share strategies for increasing equity and champion the role of a strong public health system.
APHA’s new toolkit has all the things you’ll need for a successful NPHW. Whether it’s hosting an event, promoting NPHW, joining APHA’s Billion Steps Challenge or something else, there are plenty of ways to get involved. We’ve even created a sample timeline for planning an event and promotional tips.
“NPHW @ 25: Looking Back, Moving Forward” is this year’s theme, and it’s the perfect time to celebrate, reflect and plan. We have so many great public health successes and important lessons to look back on, and there are countless opportunities to achieve more.
Each day of NPHW 2020 will focus on a different public health topic, highlighting challenges, ways we can make an impact and how we can use social justice models to reduce inequities.
Check out the toolkit now and get involved in NPHW 2020!
