Public Health Symposium at The University of Texas Medical Branch

The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) School of Public and Population Health will host an afternoon Public Health Symposium during National Public Health Week featuring student poster presentations and a keynote address by Dr. Umair Shah. The symposium will showcase public health work across research, practice, and education while creating space for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to engage with current issues shaping the field. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore student-led projects, hear from a national public health leader, and take part in a campus conversation about improving health at the population level.
