You are warmly invited to a collaborative Health Equity First Fridays session for National Public Health Week (NPHW)! We will bring together perspectives from the Public Health Education and Health Promotion Section, the Medical Care Section, and the Council of Affiliate's JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Workgroup. Aligning with this year’s NPHW theme, "Ready. Set. Act," we will explore how peer-to-peer leadership and public health education rooted in community approaches strengthen prevention efforts and advance health equity across public health practice.

Hear insights from experts with lived/living experience in community-based public health practice, clinical and health system integration, and policy, systems, and advocacy leadership. Together, we will discuss what it looks like to create spaces where individuals recognize and utilize their power to support one another, shift culture, and advance health equity in meaningful ways.

📆 When: Friday, April 10th, from 1-2pm EDT
