The Health Education Advocates for Leadership, Teamwork and Humanity (HEALTH) Student Association in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Wichita State University (WSU) will recognize National Public Health Week from 11:00 am to 1:00 on Tuesday, April 7th at the Rhatigan Student Center on the WSU main campus. HEALTH leaders and member have developed a six question, QR code accessible Qualitrics survey to assess the WSU learning community's awareness of food insecurity issues on our campus, and 2) will engage in peer-to-peer education to raise awareness and knowledge for accessing campus-based resources to combat hunger that include the Kiah Duggins Shocker Support Locker, the Shocker-Share-A-Meal program, and the Shocker Community Garden. This is an open event that is free to attend. All are welcome.
