Karl E. Peace, Ph.D., is an internationally recognized leader in biostatistics whose journey from the child of sharecroppers to a global authority in pharmaceutical development is a testament to the power of education. A proud alumnus of Virginia Commonwealth University, where he earned his Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Dr. Peace’s career has bridged the gap between life-saving industry innovation and transformative academic philanthropy. A Fellow of the American Statistical Association and former Chair of the APHA Statistics Section, Dr. Peace has received over 50 prestigious awards for his lifelong commitment to advancing public health and creating opportunities for the next generation of scientists.
