Dr. Lynn Cook Hartwig Public Health Program Symposium will begin on Thursday April 9th, from 9am-3pm, with registration, poster sessions and exhibits. We will SET the stage with our plenary legislative session, “State of Public Health Legislation in Mississippi.” We will demonstrate how we are engaging in ACTION and our two concurrent breakout sessions, 1) Using the All of Us program research workbench for secondary data analyses; and 2) Addressing health through upstream initiatives: Highlighting community-engaged
model demonstration projects. We will end with our keynote speaker and be motivated to continue to fight for public health in Mississippi. Lunch will be provided. There is no cost to attend.
