Connecting Youth to Natural Panel and Discussion

A panel discussion will bring the people who know the why and how about connecting children to nature together with the goal of inspiring parents and other caregivers to incorporate more nature into their children’s lives. An action-oriented discussion for all attendees will follow the panel discussion.

Objectives
- Understand the best practices and approaches for connecting children to nature
- Consider the impacts of nature-deficit on youth in our community
- Inspire action that leads to improved health for children through nature engagement

An hour-long facilitated panel will explore a series of pre-selected questions. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions of panelists. A guided discussion will happen immediately following the panel
