Alison Barkoff is the Harold and Jane Hirsh Associate Professor of Health Law and Policy and Hirsh Program Director at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. She has held a number of leadership roles in the federal government and non-profit sector; she led the Administration for Community Living in the Department of Health and Human Services immediately prior to joining GW. She is a nationally recognized expert on health law and policy, long-term services and supports, disability and aging policy, Medicaid and civil rights.
