Reducing Perinatal Substance Use Disorder Stigma Through Cross-Sector Collaboration

Stigma remains a significant challenge to addressing perinatal substance use disorders (SUD) effectively. This training identifies and defines three types of stigma—self, social, and structural—and examines their impacts on individuals and systems. Through a focus on cross-sector collaboration, participants will learn how to engage key partners and implement strategies to shift negative perceptions and build more impactful systems, ultimately fostering a more supportive environment for individuals and families affected by perinatal SUD.
