Public Health Law 101

Join the APHA Law Section, the Public Health Law Center and the Center for Law, Health and Society at Georgia State University School of Law, for a free Public Health Law 101 webinar on Tuesday, May 5, from 9–10 PT / 11–12 CT / 12–1 ET.

This session will introduce attendees to federal, state, and local public health authority. Speakers will also examine recent trends shifting the balance between protecting and promoting the health of the population and individual rights, considering factors such as religion, privacy, and autonomy. Attendees will learn about public health organizations available to collaborate with public health departments and others on legal issues.
