Making an Impact in Health Policy: Advocacy Strategies That Work – A Lunchtime Panel Webinar
March 26, 2026 | 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM EDT
These are unprecedented times in health policy. Join a dynamic lunchtime panel on practical strategies for influencing policy: communicating with legislators, attending town halls, writing op-eds, and other ways to make a real impact. Panelists will share personal advocacy experiences and answer your questions. While the APHA Action Board and Policy Action Institute support advocacy nationally, many state affiliates lack these structures. This session highlights federal- and state-level advocacy avenues and showcases tested approaches by three former APHA Action Board Chairs.
