Juliet K. Choi, JD
Juliet K. Choi is president and CEO of the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF), a national health justice organization dedicated to achieving health equity for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities through law, policy, and practice. She is a seasoned cross-sector leader and coalition builder with expertise in immigration, civil rights, healthcare, and disaster relief. Choi served in the Obama administration as chief of staff at both U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Office for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Her career also includes leadership roles at the American Red Cross, various nonprofits, and a Fortune 500 company. The daughter of South Korean immigrants, she serves on the board of the David L. Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law, is a certified mediator, and holds a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
