Melissa Alperin, more commonly known by her nickname, Moose, has a long history of serving in leadership roles for workforce development and public health practice initiatives. Moose is the PI/Director of the Region IV Public Health Training Center which is headquartered at the Rollins School of Public Health of Emory University. Moose is active in professional organizations, including APHA.
