Evidentiary Review Committee
The function of the Evidentiary Review Committee is to coordinate the evaluation of APHA’s policy briefs. The Evidentiary Review Committee is encouraged to collaborate with experts and other relevant entities to enhance the accomplishment of its goals. The Evidentiary Review Committee shall receive, review, hold hearings on, and present its recommendations for Governing Council action. The Evidentiary Review Committee shall participate in the policy briefs review, updating, and archiving process and shall make recommendations to the Governing Council for changes in the policy briefs process. All 17 Evidentiary Review Committee members represent one of five core areas of public health: behavioral and social sciences, biomedical sciences and clinical practice, environmental and occupational health, epidemiology and statistics, and health management and social policy.
