Robin Kimbrough-Melton

Professor Kimbrough-Melton is the executive office of the Global Alliance on Behavioral Health and Social Justice (formerly the American Orthopsychiatric Association), a 100+ interdisciplinary professional association focused on mental health and social justice.  She is retired from the faculty of the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Center.  Prior to entering academia in 1995, she served as legal counsel to committees in the Nebraska and Maryland legislatures and held policy positions with the American Bar Association, the American Public Human Services Association and the Council of Chief State School Officers.    

A member of APHA for 10 years, she has served as the chair of the Mental Health Section and a member of the Intersectional Council Steering Committee.
