Kaye Reynolds, DrPH, MPH

Kaye Reynolds received her Master of Public Health, with a Concentration in Epidemiology, and her Doctor of Public Health in Community Health Practice from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Public Health. She is currently serving as Contributing Faculty in the College of Health Sciences and Public Policy at Walden University. Dr. Reynolds has worked primarily in local health departments, including more than 20 years as the Deputy Director of a multi-division local health department in Texas.  She completed her services at the health department as a Special Projects Coordinator, assisting the department in researching funding opportunities and grant writing to continue and expand the health department’s role in the community. While now retired from full-time work at a health department, Dr. Reynolds remains active with the Texas Public Health Association (TPHA), in which she serves on the Governing Council and Executive Board, and as the Affiliate Representative to the Governing Council of the American Public Health Association. Past positions with TPHA include President of the association and Co-chair of the Editorial Board for the Texas Public Health Journal. Dr. Reynolds serves as the Chair of the Council of Affiliates for APHA, which also includes service on the Executive Board of APHA.
