Policy Priorities

Joining means putting your name behind four priorities.

  1. Fund the people and systems that keep us safe. Restore public health funding, staffing and research, and pass full-year funding that rejects the cuts before the Dec. 11 deadline.

  2. Keep politics out of science. Protect CDC, NIH and the expert panels behind vaccine and cancer screening recommendations from political interference.

  3. Make care affordable and easier to keep. Restore the Medicaid and ACA cuts in H.R. 1, fix work requirements that push eligible people off coverage and protect access to reproductive health care.

  4. Make sure every family has enough to eat. Roll back the cuts to SNAP and WIC and expand both programs.
