Healing our Planet: A Call To Action on Climate and Health Inequities

Join leaders from the Department of the Interior and NPS, the Office of Surgeon General, Climate Change Project Echo, USPHS and others for a discussion of the next greatest health challenge of our time. APHA Executive Director Georges Benjamin, MD, will be one of many esteemed panelists.

Attendees will learn about an initiative, Climate Action, Readiness, Equity that has been formed by 15 U.S. Public Health Service officers in alignment with the HHS Office of Climate Change and Health Equity. The program will also include excerpts from the new film “Invisible Corps”— a documentary of the 200-year history of the USPHS Commissioned Corps, including its 100-year partnership with the NPS.
