Description
Each year in August, National Immunization Awareness Month provides an opportunity to highlight the value of immunization across the lifespan. The National Immunization Awareness Month Communication Toolkit is being developed by NPHIC, in collaboration with CDC, to help you communicate the importance of vaccination throughout the lifespan. Each week of NIAM will focus on a different stage of the lifespan:
Preteens and Teens (Aug. 2-8)
Pregnant Women (Aug. 9-15)
Adults (Aug. 16-22)
Infants and Children (Aug. 23-29)
There will also be a Time for School toolkit available in advance of NIAM to assist you with communicating about vaccines children, preteens, and teens need before the school year starts.
The toolkits include key messages, sample media materials, social media content, and event ideas. There will also be eye-catching NIAM logos and banners for each weekly theme to place on your websites and social media platforms. These branding elements highlight your participation in NIAM.
