Webinar //

Date:

Sep 14 2023, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM EST

Description

Join APHA for the first in a two-part webinar series focusing on international policies and evidence-based practices that prevent and/or mitigate the deleterious effects of events affecting maternal and child mental health across the world.

This webinar series is inspired by the 10th Anniversary World Happiness Report published by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network in 2023, which analyzes and ranks every country’s well-being based on health metrics like life expectancy and wealth metrics like GDP as well as intangible aspects, such as social support, freedom to make life choices, generosity, perceptions of government, business corruption and recent experiences of emotions.

The webinar is organized by the Global Maternal and Child Health Network (an intersectional working group of APHA's MCH and IH Sections) in collaboration with APHA's Mental Health Section and the Global Alliance for Behavioral Health & Social Justice.
