Learning Institutes

Amplify your learning experience and earn up to 12 additional CE credits. The Learning Institutes are half-, full- and two-day courses that focus on professional development and build on knowledge and skills. Some Learning Institutes at APHA 2021 will be offered in Denver and others online. View the schedule in the table below and pay special attention to the location. 

  • In-person attendees can only participate in Denver Learning institutes.
  • Virtual attendees can only participate in virtual Learning Institutes.

LIs are not included in the meeting registration fee. Purchase access to LIs during the registration process, or log back into your registration record to add it on.

Courses that take place all day on Sunday will break mid-day for the Opening General Session.

Cancellations incur a fee of $75 and will be deducted for each Learning Institute and $20 for each CE cancellation.

Note: APHA has the right to cancel any LI due to low enrollment. In case of a cancellation, registrants will be notified immediately and given the opportunity to chose an alternate LI or to be fully refunded.
