The SHES Section's School Health Leader Award
The award will be given to a school health professional who shows evidence of significant leadership and contributions in the areas of school health services, program development, research and/or advocacy.
Significant leadership activities and contributions are those that promote components of the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child model or the Framework for 21st Century School Nursing Practice.
The winner is recognized at the SHES reception at the APHA Annual Meeting, listed in The Nation’s Health newspaper, and awarded a plaque.
