The 2021 Bloomberg American Health Summit will examine how the COVID-19 pandemic has revealed to the broader public the far-reaching and life-changing role that public health plays in our daily lives — from accessing care and delivering vaccines to expanding the availability of healthy food to developing new and equitable solutions to public safety.
Over the past year, public health has been in the spotlight — sometimes succeeding and sometimes struggling to overcome extraordinary challenges. This year’s Summit will:
- Highlight communities that were left behind during the pandemic and provide a platform for cultivating a more inclusive public health response.
- Recognize excellence in public health leadership.
- Inform how to better plan for and respond to future pandemics and public health crises.
