Annual Meeting Press Office Information

APHA hosts a Press Office to welcome reporters, provide press registration and highlight news-making opportunities during the Annual Meeting. The location of the APHA 2018 Press Office will be announced soon. Reporters should register in advance. Reporters must visit the Press Office in order to pick up a press badge, Annual Meeting Final Program and press kit, and to gain access to the meeting.

Sunday, Nov. 11, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 12, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 13, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 14, 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Press Work Room

APHA provides space for the exclusive use of reporters. The Press Work Room is open during Press Office hours. Phones with local access, computers with Internet access and a printer are provided. Quiet space for interviews and recording are available upon request. To reserve an interview room or quiet space, please contact Megan Lowry.

The APHA Press Work Room may only be used by credentialed reporters who have registered and been approved to cover the meeting.


All research scheduled for presentation during APHA 2018 is embargoed until 12:01 a.m. EST on the day of presentation.
