WASHINGTON D.C. — "Today we give thanks for and recognize the remarkable tenure of Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius. She is a strong, thoughtful leader who has worked every day to enhance the opportunity for the people of America to be as healthy as we could be. Her support for safe food, women's health and lessening tobacco addiction are hallmarks of her tenure. Her tenacity to ensure implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is an important accomplishment that will save lives. Americans are healthier because of her leadership. We salute her and wish her well in her next endeavor."
