The APHA Public Health Film Festival is a unique component of the Annual Meeting. The festival offers a versatile way to learn, raise awareness, improve understanding, and spark the conversation about health in creative ways. The film festival features public health films of all types and topics, including theme-related pieces and those exploring and highlighting public health locally, nationally, and globally. Our goal is to screen films that demonstrate, educate, inspire and encourage a change for a healthier future. The Film Festival includes:
- Feature Film sessions — Full-length films or a collection of films followed by a panel discussion with invited filmmakers and topic experts. (Schedule will be posted after reviews are completed.)
- Short Film sessions — Short films are NOT being considered for 2022. Consider submitting for the Feature Film sessions if the running time of the project meets the 2022 guidelines.
You must be registered for APHA 2022 to watch films and participate in any film festival sessions and events. (Registration opens on June 27, 2022)
