Wellness Activities at the APHA Annual Meeting

The APHA Annual Meeting Wellness Center continues to grow each year! We work with multiple APHA Sections to give attendees new activities that focus on mental and physical wellness during the meeting. Activities include group activities, health education sessions, dance and more. A full schedule for the virtual  Wellness Center will be available closer to the meeting. 

Million Minutes Challenge:

The Million Minutes Challenge (formerly the Steps Challenge) was created to encourage attendees to exercise during the meeting. In an effort to be as inclusive as possible and encourage all people to participate, this activity has been renamed the Million Minutes Challenge. Beginning this year, attendees can track minutes of activity instead of steps. Some examples of activities include swimming, walking, seated yoga and stretch breaks. Prizes are available for attendees who participate and will be sent via mail or email. More details will be available closer to the meeting.
