APHA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are developing the Climate Change and Health Playbook to support the work of state, local, territorial and tribal health services across the nation in embedding justice, equity, diversity and inclusion, or JEDI, into their climate and resilience initiatives, programs and operations.

This playbook is divided into three parts:

  3. JEDI and BRACE in Action

CDC's Building Resilience Against Climate Effects, or BRACE, framework was created to aid jurisdictions in navigating the health adaptation process. This playbook is a supplement to BRACE to amplify the incorporation of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion.
