Get Certified in Public Health! Register by April 30

The National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) has created a voluntary certification exam to ensure that graduates from accredited schools and programs of public health have mastered the knowledge and skills relevant to contemporary public health. Exams will be administered Aug. 11-30 at test sites around the country. You can register until April 30 at www.publichealthexam.org/exam.cfm.

New Documentary Series on Health Inequalities Airs this Month
Unnatural Causes, a four-part weekly series airing on PBS that began March 27, examines America's socio-economic and racial inequities in health and searches for root causes. Learn more about the series at www.unnaturalcauses.org. Health professionals can learn more about how social justice affects health while earning academic credit through San Francisco State University. National Rural Institute on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Set for June 1-5

This unique rural alcohol and drug abuse conference provides participants the opportunity to personally interact with other rural alcohol and drug abuse professionals, federal agency representatives, and nationally known institute faculty and resource persons.
