Vision: Excellence in public health systems measured and improved by use of nationally-recognized performance standards
Mission and Goals: The stated mission and goals of the NPHPSP are to improve the quality of public health practice and the performance of public health systems by:
- Providing performance standards for public health systems,
- Improving quality and accountability of public health practice,
- Conducting systematic collection and analysis of performance data, and
- Strengthening the science-base for public health practice improvement.
The NPHPSP is a collaborative effort of national partners representing the organizations and individuals that will use the performance standards.
