Leadership Development Efforts

The American Public Health Association (APHA) is an Affiliate member of the National Public Health Leadership Development Network (NPHLDN).   APHA supports the mission of the Network which is: “to build public health leadership capacity by sustaining a collaborative and vibrant learning community of leadership programs in order to improve health outcomes.”

APHA provides opportunities to the Network to lead discussions on leadership issues in public health at our Annual meetings that serves to strengthen the performance and effectiveness of public health systems.
