Dr. Joy P. Nanda

Dr. Joy P. NandaDr. Joy P. Nanda is an MCH epidemiologist with extensive training at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. As a community and behavioral epidemiologist, he has focused his research on women and children’s health in academic, health care, and community settings for more than 25 years. He serves as a research methodologist/co-investigator to numerous research and community activities sponsored by public and private organizations. He has over 25 peer reviewed journal articles and numerous technical reports.

Dr. Nanda has provided his expertise in the development and evaluation of psychometric properties of instruments, appropriate study methodology, statistical analysis, and interpretation of findings related to both qualitative and quantitative research and community programs. In addition to research and evaluation, Dr. Nanda teaches graduate level courses on principles of epidemiology, epidemiologic methods, social epidemiology, and MCH epidemiology at Morgan State University and a course on pregnancy outcomes in developed and developing countries at one of the Johns Hopkins Summer Institutes in Baltimore.
