APHA and Unbound Medicine release new version of Control of Communicable Diseases Manual for Mobile and Web
Updated platform includes content from the 20th edition of the renowned sourcebook on infectious disease, as well as public health news feeds and literature tracking
Washington, D.C., June 9, 2015 — The American Public Health Association and Unbound Medicine today announced the release of an updated version of Control of Communicable Diseases Manual for Mobile and Web, coinciding with the recent release of the 20th edition of the leading global reference for identifying and controlling infectious disease.
The latest version of the online platform, originally launched in 2010, includes up-to-date information about the occurrence, transmission, resistance and control of communicable diseases. Notable features include details on nearly all currently understood infectious diseases, expert disease control recommendations and comprehensive infection control guidelines. Free previews are also available of chapters on Ebola, listeriosis, Lyme Disease, Rift Valley Fever and meningitis.
Users can access Control of Communicable Diseases Manual for Mobile and Web exclusively from Unbound Medicine for iOS and Android devices and all major Web browsers. Once downloaded, content can be accessed offline on smartphones or tablets.
