APHA-SA: Newsletter Sub Committee

Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Newsletter Sub-committee is to provide public health students with the opportunity to share their stories, experiences, and thoughts about public health with other fellow students through News and Views, the APHA-SA Newsletter. The APHA-SA Newsletter also provides readers with the opportunity to learn about these various aspects of public health practice and research. Articles included in the Newsletter included those on original research, practicum, and internship experiences, commentary, career advice, as well as updates on public health-related events.
Objectives:
•Allow public health students to share their personal, academic, internship, professional, and volunteer experiences in public health with fellow students through News and Views, the APHA-SA Newsletter
•Provide public health students with an opportunity to publish their writing on a public health topic of interest through the annual newsletter supplement
•Provide a forum through which the larger APHA membership can learn about the work of public health students
Get Involved:
Opportunities exist to get involved in the editing of submissions and formatting of the newsletter. APHA-SA Newsletter is always accepting articles to be featured in the upcoming Newsletter.
