Plans after school: Upon completion of my DrPH in Preventive Care, I plan to start a post doctorate fellow to gain more hands on practical experience in my chosen field. My long tern goal is to own a clinic that not only treats individual patients but also promotes healthy behaviors in underserved communities.
Personal Statement about APHA-SA: APHA-SA has been a great asset in my professional career. I have had the opportunity to network with many students who all share the same interest and passion to help others as I do. These experiences have proven to be invaluable. APHA-SA has greatly aided in uplifting my career and opened doors that I would not have been able to open on my own. I am always willing to talk to students who are ready to get involved with APHA-SA and take their professional career to the next level!
