Plans after school: After completing my MPH, I hope to work in health policy or health consulting field. I also plan on applying to medical school to further my career in public health.

Personal Statement about APHA-SA: In my first year of the MPH program, I was very eager to become involved within USC in public health through MaPHSA, planning a healthcare- related town hall meeting and other local public health activities to be involved in. After experiencing the opportunity to attend the APHA annual meeting 2011 through the ambassador program, I thought it would be great to get involved in APHA and network with other public health students across the country and get my school more involved in APHA activities. I’m also hoping to bring NPHW activities to the community surrounding USC since the theme this year has to do with the promotion of healthy communities. I look forward to working with my co chair and the rest of the APHA SA to ensure a successful NPHW in April.
