Plans after school: After earning my doctoral degree, I plan to pursue a career in academia. I aim to become a tenure-track faculty member, and engage myself in research, mentoring, and teaching.
Personal Statement about APHA-SA: I have been a member of the APHA since 2000. I have benefited greatly by being a member of APHA, ex. internships, networking, and education. I truly believe in the philosophy "For everyone to whom much is given, of him shall much be required." Therefore, I aim to serve the APHA by being an active member of the APHA-SA Diversity Committee. I am extremely excited about the opportunity to serve the APHA-SA for years to come.
