Personal Statement about APHA-SA: I am excited to become a part of the APHA-SA. Coming from an engineering background, I have had different training than many of the other students in the assembly. I appreciate the unique opportunity to learn about the many other perspectives on health that is afforded by a public health assembly. I feel that better solutions to our nation’s health problems can be generated when they are considered from a transdisciplinary perspective.
