Personal Statement about APHA-SA: APHA-SA is a wonderful organization where students have a very loud voice. There are not many organizations like this, and I am proud to be a part of this one. It is exciting serving with students from all different educational backgrounds from all across the country. There are so many ways to get involved with APHA-SA such as serving on our board, volunteering on one of our committees, serving as a Campus Liaison, Section Liaison, Affiliate Liaison, or Membership Ambassador, as an editorial intern, reviewing abstracts for next year's Annual Meeting, serving and assist in organizing events for next year's Annual Meeting. There are so many opportunities for students in APHA and I encourage each and every one of you to reach out, take a chance, and get involved because it can only help you with your future in public health.
