Practice/Research Interests: Disaster preparedness, bioterrorism, occupational and environmental health, industrial hygiene, infectious disease
Plans after school: In addition to my clinical responsibilities and given my commitment in the U.S. Navy, my goal is provide operational oversight and guidance in occupational health, industrial hygiene, bioterrorism and disaster preparedness for the military population and their dependents in addition to assisting in global health concerns in cooperation with foreign and/or host countries.
Personal Statement about APHA-SA: I am excited to be in a role where I can reach out to students to promote advocacy and action which I feel is just as important as students and as future professionals in public health. In my time with the Action Committee, I hope to expand our roles in student advocacy and direct our committee to important issues not only in public health but in particular students concerns in public health and how we can voice, address, and ACT on those issues.
