Plans after school: Once my degree is completed, I will pursue opportunities in senior/executive leadership at an advanced acute care facility. As part of a marketing program, I would like to see community engagement that promotes not on access to quality care, but a total patient experience.
Personal Statement about APHA-SA: APHA-SA has been a great opportunity for me to meet and network with my contemporaries in the medical and health industry. Not only are they some of the brightest individuals in the field, but we all are focused on improving health and wellness around the world. By getting involved and attending the Mid-Year meeting I met inspirational colleagues that will be great resources for me in the future. The best way to make the most of your membership is to get involved. Participating in a committee and taking on a leadership role are both great ways to get involved and really help shape public health advocacy efforts. There are so many opportunities through APHA-SA, so join today!
