APHA-SA is excited about the theme of the 2007 APHA Annual Meeting and Exposition, "Politics, Policy, & Public Health". The 135th Annual Meeting will be held November 3-7, 2007 in Washington, DC.

APHA-SA seeks abstracts from students in public health or related fields on any topic, especially the Annual Meeting theme. You do not need to be a current APHA or APHA-SA member to submit an abstract. Student papers should reflect work undertaken while in school, either undergraduate or graduate programs. Abstracts will be accepted online only through our submission site; the deadline has been extended to February 14, 2007, midnight PST.

Abstracts submitted will be peer-reviewed and ranked for originality, quality, methodology, clarity, and format. Submitters will be notified by APHA on June 1, 2007 of their abstract acceptance status.
